1. Recommendation for Displaying and Processing Large Images with
the Viewer and 360Viewer Programs
-----------------------------------------------------------------

It may take some time for the Viewer or 360Viewer program to start
when you attempt to display a large image from the PhotoStitch
Launcher or PhotoStitch program. The printing dialog may also take
some time to appear and it may operate extremely slowly when you
attempt to print a large image from the Viewer or 360Viewer
program. This problem will be more pronounced on systems with
relatively few memory resources. You are recommended to view or
print large images on a system with ample memory resources.

2. Merging Images Shot with a Tele-converter or Wide converter
Lens
--------------------------------------------------------------

Images shot with a tele-converter or wide converter lens on the
camera cannot be merged correctly in PhotoStitch. Please avoid the
use of these lens to shoot images that you wish to merge with
PhotoStitch.

3. Windows XP and the Fast User Switching Feature
-------------------------------------------------

This program has been confirmed to run with Windows XP, but does
not support the Fast User Switching feature in Windows XP. If you
use the Fast User Switching feature while using this program, it
may not operate correctly.

To avoid problems, you are recommended to close this program
before using Fast User Switching.

4. Cannot synthesize image under focus distance of 20mm (in terms
of 35mm film)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Images under focus distance of 20mm (in 35mm film parlance) cannot
be synthesized in this software. Shoot with focus distance of over
20mm.

5. Cannot invoke help file
--------------------------

If the help file cannot be invoked, please install Internet
Explorer 4.01 SP1a or higher. You can get the latest version of
Internet Explorer from Microsoft web site.

6. Files and folders containing characters not supported by
PhotoStitch
------------------------------------------------------------

An error message is displayed when a file that contains
characters not supported by PhotoStitch is loaded or
written to, or when a file is loaded from or written to
a folder that contains unsupported characters. This includes,
for example, characters that can only be displayed using
Unicode.

If this error occurs when a file is loaded, first try
changing the file name to one using only numerals.
If the error still occurs, try the following in addition to
the above.

- If using Windows Vista, copy the renamed file to the "Public"
folder at the bottom of the Desktop.
- If using another OS, copy the renamed file to c:\.
If you don't have permission to copy to this location, log in
with a user account that has administrator privileges.

If this error occurs when a file is saved, try
changing the file name to one using only numerals before
resaving. If the error still occurs, try the following in
addition to the above.

- If using Windows Vista, save the file in the "Public" folder
at the bottom of the Desktop.
- If using another OS, save the file to c:\. If you don't have
permission to save to this location, log in with a user
account that has administrator privileges.

7. Focal length settings are not saved in some cases
-----------------------------------------------------

When unsupported characters are used in the user name, focal
length settings are only saved until PhotoStitch is exited,
and after exiting they will be lost. This is because the focal
length cannot be written to the specified location. In this
case, to merge using the same focal length after exiting
PhotoStitch, you will need to set the focal length again.
