I create a lot of graphics in CorelDRAW® and I'd like to use them in my WordPerfect and Presentations™ files. What's the best way to save these files so they're optimal for WordPerfect and Presentations?

Answer:
Both CorelDRAW and WordPerfect have more than 100 file filters for opening and saving all kinds of file types. When it comes to saving CorelDRAW files for use in WordPerfect and Presentations, we recommend that you export your files from CorelDRAW as WordPerfect Graphics (WPG) files. In CorelDRAW 12, this is easily done by using the new Export For Office feature which optimizes your CorelDRAW designs for use in Office productivity programs such as WordPerfect Office and Presentations.

Creating formulas in a table

As you may know, Table is one of the most powerful features in WordPerfect®. Tables can be used in a variety of situations, but most of us turn to them when we need to position text and numbers in columns. What you may not realize is that you can create formulas in WordPerfect tables and then perform some pretty cool calculations with them. And if you can do calculations in WordPerfect tables, there's no need to trouble yourself with going to another program for simple tasks such as adding a series of numbers.

In this tutorial, Laura Acklen takes you step by step through creating formulas in tables and using them to calculate values. After that, you'll learn how to create formulas using one of the 500 built-in spreadsheet functions. Finally, Laura will explain how to import Quattro® Pro and Microsoft® Excel information in a spreadsheet into a WordPerfect table. See for yourself just how easy it is.
