An ACP is an entry that:
Contains security directives that are stored in the entry itself.
Bequeaths its security downward to all entries at lower points in the DIT.
To view, add, change, or delete ACPs, select Subtree Access Management in the Navigator pane. All the entries serving as ACPs are listed in the right pane. From this pane, you can add a new ACP, view and modify existing ACPs, and delete an ACP.
Adding a New Access Control Point (ACP)
To create a new ACP from scratch, click the Create button in the toolbar or at the bottom of the right pane. The New Access Control Point pane appears.
Adding a New Access Control Point (ACP) by Copying an Existing One
In the right pane, select the ACP you want to use as a template, then click the Create Like button in the toolbar or click Create Like at the bottom of the right pane. The New Access Control Point pane appears, with information from the selected ACP entered. Make changes in this information to create a new ACP.
Viewing and Modifying Existing ACPs
Double click one of the ACPs. The Subtree Access Control Point window for the one you clicked appears, showing the access rules currently in effect for that ACP.
The Entry Path cannot be changed once the ACP has been created. If you want to modify one of the Structural Access Items or Content Access Items, select it and click the Edit button for the appropriate panel. When the edit window for that item appears, fill in the appropriate information in the fields on each tab, then click the OK button to save your revised ACP.

Deleting an Existing ACP
In the right pane, select the ACP you want to delete, and click the Delete button at the bottom of the pane on the right.
Confirm your deletion when asked.
