To view and change the components of a Directory entry, including its DN, object classes, and other attributes and their values:
Expand Entry Management in the Navigator pane.
Click the entry.
The components of the entry appear in a window with four tabs:
Properties shows the DN, object classes, and other attributes and values of the entry. For details, see Entry Properties .
Search brings up a Search pane, from which you can look for subentries using this entry as the root of the search. For how to use the Search pane, see Using the Search Pane.
Subtree Access brings up a pane in which you can view and change the access rules using this entry as an access control point (ACP). Access rules you view or set in this pane affect this entry and entries in the subtree below it. For details on how to use this pane, see Subtree Access.
Local Access brings up a pane in which you can view and change the access rules for this entry only. For details on how to use this pane, see Local Access.
