System Operational Attributes

The System Operational Attributes tab displays the operational attributes belonging to the server to which you are presently connected, and allows you to modify some of those attributes.

To access this page: Expand Oracle Internet Directory Servers and select the server instance whose properties you want to view or modify. The tab pages for that server instance appear in the right pane. Select the System Operational Attributes tab.

This tab page contains the following fields:

Configuration Set Location

DN of the entry holding the top of the Naming context in this server. The default value is cn=subconfigsubentry. You cannot change this value.

Indexed Attribute Locations

DN for the file containing all indexed attributes. The default value is cn=catalogs. You cannot change this value.

Naming Contexts

DN for the Naming context(s) contained in this server. Enter a new value in the field. You can change this value. If you are not sure of the value, click the attribute to bring up a search window.

Orcl Directory Version

The version of Oracle Internet Directory that you are using

The debug logging level

Password Encryption

Determines the scheme for encrypting the password. Select an option from the list

Process Instance Location

DN of the entry holding the Instance Registry in this server. The default value is cn=subschemasubentry. You cannot change this value.

Query Entry Return Limit

Maximum number of entries to be returned by a search. The default value is 1000. You can change this value.

Replication Agreements

DN of the entry holding the replication agreement. The default value is cn=orclreplagreements. You cannot change this value.

Replication Log Location

DN of the entry holding the change log in this server. The default value is cn=changelog. You cannot change this value.

Replication Status Location

DN of the entry holding the change status in this server. The default value is cn=changestatus. You cannot change this value.

Schema Definition Location

DN of the schema. The default value is cn=subschemasubentry. You cannot change this value.

Server Mode

Determines whether data can be written to the server. The default value is Read/Write. You can change this value to either Read/Write or Read Only. Change the default to Read Only during replication process.

Server Operation Time Limit

Maximum amount of time, in seconds, allowed for a search to be completed. The default value is 3600. You can change this value.
