Manage Server: Control

The Control tab enables you to control various aspects of the Oracle Names server.

Operation

Server Operations

Start
Select to start the Oracle Names server.
Shutdown
Select to shut down the Oracle Names server.
Restart
Select to initiate a reset of the Oracle Names server to its original startup.

Statistics Operations

Write Statistics to Log
Select to write statistics to the log file.
Reset Statistics
Select to reset the Oracle Names server's statistics to the original value of the Oracle Names server at startup.
Perform Operations

Immediately

Choose to perform an operation immediately.
Wait
Choose to wait to perform an operation. Enter a time value interval in seconds. To cancel an already scheduled operation, enter a time value of 0.
Apply button

Choose to apply settings to the Oracle Names server.

Revert button

Choose to reset the settings to their original values.

Set Password button

If a password has been set, enter the password for the Oracle Names server.

Start	Select to start the Oracle Names server.

Restart	Select to initiate a reset of the Oracle Names server to its original startup.

Write Statistics to Log	Select to write statistics to the log file.
