A container named cn=OracleContext in a Directory Information Tree (DIT) that is relative to administrative context. cn=OracleContext contains entries for use with Oracle software, including database services and net service names for use with directory naming.

There can be one or more Oracle Contexts in a directory. An Oracle Context is located under an administrative context.

The Oracle Context can be changed to another context.
