Directory Server Connection

This dialog allows you to define a new server management connection.

To define a server management connection:

1. Enter the name of the server. This may be either the local domain name (echou-sun) or the fully qualified name (echou-sun.acme.com).

2. Enter the port used to connect to the server. The default value used by Oracle Internet Directory Server is port 389. You should use whatever port value the Oracle Internet Directory server was configured with during installation.

3. Click one of the buttons:

   • OK to apply the values and close the dialog box.

   • Cancel to clear the values and close the dialog box.
