SSL Login

To enable an SSL connection between Oracle Directory Manager and the directory server:

The server must be SSL enabled. To enable SSL on the directory server, set the SSL parameters in the server configuration set entry.

There must be a wallet on the client side.

You must set the SSL parameters on this page.

SSL Location	Enter the location where the Oracle Directory Manager user wallet is stored on the local file system. Enter the complete path to the wallet, but not the wallet name itself. Example: file:\private\svenning\wallet If your wallet is stored on another file system, you must either copy the wallet or NFS mount its location on this file system.
SSL password	Enter the wallet password
SSL Authentication Level	Choices are: None Server Only Authentication Client and Server Authentication

Note:

• If you choose None or Server Only authentication, you can use a default wallet created for all users of the Oracle Directory Manager. To create a wallet, see the appendix on the Oracle Wallet Manager in Oracle Internet Directory Administrator's Guide.

• If you choose Client and Server Authentication, you must use your own wallet for client authentication to the server.
