Subtree Access

This pane displays all Access Control Points (ACPs) assigned to the entry. ACPs control who can see and modify the entry and its attributes, and the entries and attributes in the subtree below it. You can add or modify ACPs using the Structural Access and Content Access fields.

Note: Access to an entry can also be determined by Access Control Items (ACIs) specific to the entry. Local ACIs take precedence over ACPs. To see or change local ACIs, select the Local Access tab.

Structural Access Items control access to the entries in the information tree.

Content Access Items control access to the data stored in an entry (that is, the attributes).
