The attribute syntax assigned to any attribute determines the LDAP format of its corresponding values and the valid character set for its values. All of the characteristics listed below conform to the IETF Standard Attributes and Syntaxes for v3.
To see the Syntaxes pane, click Schema Management in the Navigator pane and click the Syntaxes tab.
Attribute syntaxes cannot be modified.
