How to install:

Download one of the 6 versions of the "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_000.pak" file and
paste it into your "...Steam/steamapps/common/MonsterHunterRise" directory before
booting up the game. If you already have a file of that name in the directory,
then rename it to the next number in order. (e.g. "...patch_001.pak,"
"...patch_002.pak," "...patch_003.pak," etc.)

Details about the versions:

Some weapons like Dual Blades or Bow are very efficient with elemental attacks
and so they'll be bringing elemental to every fight. Many others are better off
with raw damage unless the monster has a particularly juicy elemental weakness.
Thus, there are two main categories of versions for this mod:

1) For Elemental Damage Based Weapon Types

These versions simply indicate the element which the monster is weakest to.

2) For Raw Damage Based Weapon Types

These versions only indicate "significantly juicy" elemental weaknesses. In order
to be classified as "significantly juicy," the monster must have at least one
reasonably targetable weak spot with an elemental HZV of 25 or greater. Monsters
that don't meet this requirement will simply not have a weakness indication icon.

For each of those two main categories, there are three styles:

1) Elemental Weakness Only

This option only shows the elemental attack type that the monster is weak to at
the top right corner of the image.

2) Elemental Weakness & Ailments

This option additionally shows the ailments that the monster is vulnerable to
along the bottom of the image. All ailments with 2 star effectiveness or higher
are shown.

3) Elemental Weakness, Ailments, and Gearing

This option additionally shows the elemental blights and ailments that you should
gear up for at the top left corner of the image.

There are a couple of monsters whose elemental weakness switches between two
modes. There are also monsters who have multiple elemental weaknesses that are
roughly equivalent to one another. In the case of a monster whose weakness
switches between modes, there are two separate large icons for both elements. In
the case of a monster which has multiple equivalent weaknesses, there is one
icon made up of multiple elements.

Enjoy!
